JC's Flyers...
Hey everybody! If any of you's guys wanna e-mail a JC's flyer to you're friends instead of handing them a bit of paper they'd probably lose click Here for a copy of the flyer you can send to whoever you want! Just attach it to an e-mail and send away, if you don't know how and you use Hotmail (I guess most of you do!) here's a how-to guide:
  1. Go to the Mail page.
  2. Click New.
  3. Click Attach, and then click File on the menu.
  4. Click Browse to locate the file you want to attach. On the toolbar, click OK to return to your message.
and that's it! Laters guys!

The blind see,
The lame walk,
Lepers are cleansed,
The deaf hear,
The dead are raised,
The wretched of the earth learn that God is on their side.

"Is this what you were expecting? Then count yourselves most blessed!" (Matt 11.4-6)

Whose exciteted?!
Well. we had our 'team meeting' for the outreach event we are in charge of last night, and to be honest, I was a little worried. When I thought about all the jobs that needed doing. But as the meeting went on all the jobs were broken down into smaller ones and spread out across a few people which made the whole allocation thing run a lot smoother.
It really blessed me to see how eager people were to help out as much as they could (some of you guys are coming straight from work!). Now I am really looking forward to JC's, I think it will be a real good opurtunity, not only as an outreach method, but also as a way to show the rest of the church exactly what we are capable of.

A Slight Change To The Norm
This thursday evening, Rob (the normal GIFT leader) is in Derby. Which means that someone else is leading the meeting this week. That someone else, is me.

I've never led a meeting before, so this will be a new and hopefully fun experience. I've decided what to do the meeting on, but I haven't yet prepared anything. I'm doing this weeks meeting on.... nah I'll leave you in suspense until thursday I think!

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; thew do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valueable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?. . . Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6

This passage has helped me the last couple of days. Hope it encourages some of you.
